Photographer's Business Liability Insurance

Extensive coverage for lawsuits resulting from bodily injury, personal injury, and property damage in and out of your studio.

Overview

Why Do I Need Liability Coverage?

Whether you have a studio or work off-site, it’s important to protect your livelihood against unforeseen incidents such as claims of bodily injury, personal injury, and/or property damage. Even if the charges are false or fraudulent, the policy can provide first dollar coverage for legal defense and other court related costs.

In addition, many venues require photographers to provide their own liability insurance when working on site. When required, event hosts or venues can be added an Additional Insured on the policy at no additional cost.

What Coverage Is Available*?

  • Limits of $1,000,000 for each occurrence and up to $2,000,000 of aggregate coverage. (A popular coverage amount. Higher limits can be requested.)
  • Legal defense and other court-related costs, even for false or fraudulent claims, are paid on a first-dollar basis
  • Worldwide liability coverage for photo or video shoots can be considered.
  • Inland Marine coverage can be quoted for cameras, camera equipment, computers, and other miscellaneous types of equipment such as lighting, stands, etc.) including rented or borrowed equipment.
  • Crime coverage for employee dishonesty, forgery, alteration, and money and securities (inside or outside).
  • Hired and Non-Owned Auto coverage is available.
  • No Liability Insurance Deductible!

Priced for You

Since no two Photographers are alike, and gross annual receipts are considered, each application is separately reviewed for a premium quotation. The cost of this coverage may also vary by the state in which you, or your business, reside.
