Background
The University of California provides General Liability and Event Liability coverage for Office of the President Employee Clubs Events. General/Event Liability insurance provides coverage for certain liabilities arising from UCOP Employee Clubs events and related activities.

General Liability Coverage
- Standard insurance policy issued to business organizations to protect the business against liability claims for bodily injury and property damage arising out of premises, operations, products, and completed operations, and advertising and personal injury liability.
- $2,000,000 General Aggregate Limit (Other Than Products – Completed Operations)
- $2,000,000 Products/Completed Operations Aggregate Limit
- $1,000,000 Personal and Advertising Injury Limit (Any One Person or Organization) Each Occurrence Limit
- $100,000 Rented To You Limit (Any One Premises)
- $5,000 Medical Expense Limit (Any One Person)
Participant Legal Liability coverage is included for athletic activities within the above limits.
Liquor Liability, Abuse/Molestation, Employment-Related Practices and Designated Professional Services are excluded.
Event Eligibility
Events including any of the following excluded* activities, devices, and/or recreational exposures cannot be covered by this policy.
Aircraft, Airport; Amusement Device; Animals; Bungee; Carnivals & Fairs with Mechanical Rides Operated by the Insured; Events in Private Residences; Grass Skiing; Haunted Attractions; Hot Air Balloon; Inverted Aerial Maneuvers; Objects Propelled at People; Leased/Loaned/Rented Recreational Vehicles; Outdoor Inflatables Operated by the Insured; Political Events or Rallies; Pyrotechnicians/Fireworks; Rodeos; Racing, Speed, Demolition or Stunting Activity involving any Motorized Vehicle, Motorcycle, Watercraft, Power Boat, Sailboat; Shooting Activities; Snow Sleds; Snowmobiles; Saddle Animals; Trampolines; Unmanned Aircraft.

- Gather the Facts
When reporting a notice of loss (injury, property damage to third parties, auto accidents, etc.; related to a registered event), please provide as much detail as possible. This should include, but not be limited to, Insured Name (The Regents of the University of California plus student organization/club name), Contact Name (student organization/club), Policy Number, Claimant Name, Claimant Contact Information, Date of Loss, Location of Loss, Cause of Loss, Your Policy or Reference Number, Initial Steps Taken to Mitigate the Loss, Type (s) and Description of Damage and Estimated Amount of Loss. - Report
